UCanDoIt! supplies large projects for team building events, seniors evenings, fundraisers or children’s events. If you are a party planner and want to offer you clients something different we can work with you to find a project to build regardless what age group,  business or event.

We can put together any of our projects in kit form so you can take then home and build them with grandchildren, seniors or in the privacy of your own wood shop. We can sell you one of our unique hexagon tables that have legs that fold into vices. That way you will always have a table to use when building any project in the future.

UCanDoIt! can be found at the Brick Works all summer until Thanksgiving, Christmas craft sales all over the GTA  and of course in many private and public schools in Ontario.

We are planning on franchising our business in the future so if this is something you are interested in please give us a call and we can discuss the details.

Hello Camp Directors,

Summer will be here before you know it and if you have ever thought about offering your campers a wood working program UCanDoIt! can make it easy for you. For our camp programs we will sell you our four or six place tables that fold up for easy movement and storage. These tables are sturdy, enabling you to offer wood working programs for years to come. Our exclusive table design has legs which fold into vices so each camper has their own vice to use while building their project. Your camp orders the kits for the projects that you would like to offer in your wood working program. UCanDoIt! will come to your camp at the beginning of the summer and teach your counselors how to construct the projects and we will leave you with detailed laminated copies of the instructions for your reference. As the summer progresses and you run out of kits, just contact us and we will ship you whatever you need.

Some of the many projects appropriate for summer building that you can choose from are our birdhouse, butterfly (squeeze the tail and the wings move), paddleboat, windmill, treasure box, robotic arm, sailboat, draw bridge, catapult and musical intruments.  (please see “projects” for pictures and videos)

As a summer camp, teaching the joy of wood working is a natural extension of being close to nature. Working with our age appropriate designs, tools and tables, campers build projects while developing an understanding of basic building principles, improving their coordination and boosting confidence.

Hello Daycare administrators!

If you are looking for a great activity for the students in your daycare, UCanDoIt! will come to you and entertain your children by teaching them how to build a project that they will keep for years to remind them of their time with you.

No matter how many different age groups you have in your care, we can arrange our classes appropriately to challenge all ages as we have projects that will work for your youngest to your oldest students. The students construct projects while developing an understanding of basic building principles, improving their co-ordination and boosting confidence.

You can choose many creative projects from windmills, paddle boats, race cars, mechanical butterflies and many more. UCanDoIt! supplies all of the materials needed to build the project that you have chosen. We bring our children-friendly, specially designed hexagon tables which incorporate a vice for holding pieces of wood while constructing projects.

UCanDoIt! holds classes through the March break and all through the summer months. As soon as the weather gets nice we can hold the classes outside.

The price for the in-class projects are $16.00 (plus GST). Keep in mind that each student builds their own projects, all with moving parts. Not only is the class educational but your children will build a project they will keep forever to remind them of the time they spent with you in their daycare.

Hello Teachers!

Our classes are held during the day and are appropriate for JK/SK to Grade 8. We bring everything we need to teach whatever project you have chosen for your students to build. Every student makes their own project. The classes run an hour to an hour and a half. The wood is all unfinished so you can decorate or paint them later. All projects have moving parts so they can be incorporated into other classes. eg. build the race car and let the students build a track to host events on. We have over 30 projects to choose from and if you are teaching a particular theme and would like to request a project we can work with you and design whatever you need. For every Grade UCanDoIt! has a project related to the Curriculum of Science and Technology. (Indicated in the list below **)

The price for the in-class projects are $19.00 (plus GST) for each student, keeping in mind that every student builds their very own project. It is educational and also makes a great keepsake of the school year.

UCanDoIt! offers a unique, stimulating. educational and fun lunch or after school program. The program is designed to be 8 weeks long (one hour per week) although we can streamline it for a 6 or 10 week program. The projects have uncut wood so the students will learn to cut safely with a coping saw, sand properly, hammer like a pro and at the end of the eighth week they have built a large complicated project all by themselves.  They will keep their project for years.  We have many projects but our most  popular choices are:

Helicopter-Our most popular project to date. This realistic model has a hand held control to move the helicopter blades.

Foosball table- our newest creation. This game is a replica of an authentic foosball table that will entertain your students for years to come (comes with one game marble)

Pterodactyl-This imposing creature has a wing span of 3 feet. When you squeeze the tail the wings flap. We teach many Scientific concepts with this project including angles and movement.

Mississippi Steamer-Authentic steamer with wind-up paddle wheel to propel this magnificent boat in water. The lid lifts up to store treasures and it has a Styrofoam bottom to ensure that it floats.

Formula One Racer-Powerful race car with moving wheels, imposing tires and sleek design.

Marble Board Game-  Pinball type wooden board game where marbles are propelled with a spring activated trigger into various prize pockets (reminiscent of old style pin ball machines)

Float Plane-Stands one foot high and 18 inches long with elastic powered blades. It really floats as it is mounted on Styrofoam.
